The Brush-Kart Innovative Technology
The 2nd Generation Brush-Kart, designed and developed in 2021 is an innovative 3-brush hull cleaning system, that exceeds its completion in speed, efficiency, durability and ease of use. The applied innovative technology provides the 2nd Generation Brush-Kart with a cleaning capacity of up to 2.500m2 per hour, an adhesive suction force that exceeds 700kg, a hydrodynamic body and specially designed wheels that make it operational even against currents up to 2,5 knots, while providing exceptional maneuverability of a 3-meter turning radius with the minimum diver’s effort.

Robust hydrodynamic body
2nd Generation Brush-Kart’s body is hydrodynamically designed and made from anodized aluminum 5083, according to needs of the specialized hull cleaning professional diver. The sophisticated construction minimized fuel consumption and maintenance cost, maximizing efficiency, eco-friendliness, maneuverability and operational range.

Robust materials
The anodized aluminum 5083 combines exceptional durability and protection with the minimum weight. The Brush-Kart weights only 230kg (on air), making it extremely fuel-efficient and easily controllable in the water.

Ideal dimensions
With a length of 1210mm and a width of 1255mm, the 2nd Generation Brush Kart provides an ideal grip for the diver, giving them complete control of the self-propelled kart with minimum effort.

The improved hydrodynamic design combined with the ideal grip, the all-wheel drive, its pivoting brushes and the adjustable suction provide exceptional control, improved buoyancy and an expanded operational range.

The 8 types of Coris’s hull cleaning brushes are fully compatible with the 2nd Generation Brush-Kart. Every type is specialized in cleaning different levels of fouling on every type of antifouling coating.

Akzonobel – International paints, KCC and Nonophos have certified our brushes for exceptional material-friendly operation on any kind of antifouling coating.

Pivoting and powerful brushes
The 2nd Generation Brush-Kart has 2 front and one rear rotating 460mm brushes, with 40% increased rpm, compared to the 1st generation, fully adjustable up to 1500rpm, and a sophisticated pivoting system that makes them reach deeper even to the most inaccessible areas of the ship’s hull.

Smart wheels and suspensions
The 2nd Generation Brush-Kart’s improved self-propelled driving system is fully enhanced by the sophisticated design of the 4-wheel design, the advanced steering control and the adjustable suspensions, providing even greater efficiency, maneuverability and ease of use for the diver, who simply mounts the cart and controls the hull cleaning process.

Central alignment
The 2nd Generation Brush-Kart has 4 powerful centerline wheels, which provide exceptional maneuverability, with a turning radius of 3m, steady control, even against to up to 2.5 knots currents, and the ability to clean effectively niche areas and surfaces with great curvity.

Speed control
Fully adjustable speed via its sophisticated driving system, taking advantage of the Brush-Kart’s powerful diesel engine or electric power source, providing an outstanding hull cleaning speed up to 50m/min.

Improved suspensions
The 2nd Generation Brush-Kart is equipped with a fully adjustable suspension system, providing steady and suction to the hull, even on uneven surfaces, enhancing even more its efficiency by cleaning up to 100mm of fouling in just a single pass.
